This year Leiden University will again participate in the National Warm sweaterday (Warme Truiendag) on February 2nd 2018! The greenest energy, is the energy which is not consumed. With this in mind each year more than 100.000 Dutch citizens join the Warm sweaterday. On this national energy saving day Leiden University will turn down the heating. With every degree Celsius that the heating is reduced, we save 6% energy and thus 6% CO2 emission! On this day the warm sweater will be the symbol of the power we as students can have in reducing the emission of greenhouse gasses. So put on your warmest sweater and join us!

Keep an eye on the Facebook event to keep up to date and find out which university locations will participate!
